Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples has been an American actress and performer for more than 20 years. She was awarded the best actress award for her roles in Nashville, the 2012 drama, in which she played Layla Grant. She also received the award for Sharknado 2013 where she played Claudia Shepard. She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples grew up on Lake Mary Florida. The younger sister of her is Ally. Aubrey performed at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of 10 years. Her graduation from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to let her into the university for a second entry because she was chosen to play "Nashville". Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had an recurring role on Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in made for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series, in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples revealed her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples as one of the most popular performers under the age of twenty of age in September 2014.
